Ok, I've been seeing this
"we Remember Texas" Icon, candle thingy at the end of some of the Chikens Posts...
What's the deal with that, and wasn't it the Alamo???
Please explain what that is all about. Why wouldn't you remember Flight 93 instead?...My big Props and bigest amount of respect for any one other than family goes to the crew and passengers of Flight 93. and you'll always hear me saying before a game...

Why do people in the UK remember Texas? What happened there that I should remember?
Please Help the Clueless!

TexasChiken passed away, and this our way of showing our respect to his memory.

OH man, now I feel like a total Idiot, as well as an asshole, pardon my english there..
I feel bad that TexasChiken passed away.
I'ed like to know what happened if you would like to share that with me. Maybe we can learn something from it, and try to avoid the same fate.
Why don't you guys add "Chiken" onto the end of where it says "Texas", that way I could of at least assumed he had passed away...and thusly not feel like an idiot...
The further I go on, the more I sound like a jerk, so I'm just gonn'a end here, and save my self from any further animosity or banter.

May He Rest In Peace....Every time I'm out drinking, I'm gonn'a share some whisky with him. ;(

Texas passed away early this year from pneumonia, he is badly missed and will always be remembered. PhunkyChiken ( his wife ) checks in every now and then.

What a guy huh? I just read all of the posts made about Texas' passing.
I'm sorry I didn't get to know him, he was a great guy.
I hope to have people say such things about me when I'm gone.
