On Tuesday August 22nd at 7pm PST we will release server files.
On Thursday August 24th at 7pm PST we will open up a passworded client torrent release
On Saturday August 26th at 12noon PST we will release the download links and torrent password.

Well, I sit here looking at my bittorrent download and it's only 19.1% done. The PoE website is experiencing what could be called a self inflicted DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack due to the reported 1000 simultanous hits to the website. That's 1000 hits every second at least.

I wonder if the dev team realized that their media blitz would totally bog their server down. I doubt if Hypernia, their host and main sponsor, did.
