When i install vista.. i took the plung to vista. got some $$$ & got new pc parts so said why i was at it id go to vista.

i no why would i do this well it for gaming DX 10 is only able to run in vista.

Was hoping one of us would take the Vista plunge!! Good luck with the install and upgrade!! If your interested, pick up a copy of Maximum PC's March issue. In it is a full Windows Vista Survival Guide. The gist of it is they recommend a clean install.

Ive been running vista for the past 2 months, its Ok, nice eye candy but still lots of driver issues.

personally after using it i would say its not worth the updrade and XP is still the prefered operating system

Btw..... pretty much every game runs slower on Vista than it does on Xp, i'd wouldn't really get Vista for a couple months, once its got stable...
